Do you know that that man or woman who begs for bread on the streets, who hawks one item or another on the streets in order to earn a living, who pushes wheelbarrow to make a living, who sells their body to make ends meet (prostitution), who is into kidnapping and armed-robbery, who is a terrorist, who is a suicide bomber, who is a drug addict, who is into money-making rituals, who dupes innocent people of their hard earned money, who roams about the streets with portfolio in hand for ten years running in the name of job hunting, who lives oblivion of the future, who prefers to remain stagnant because they are afraid of getting it wrong again, who has lost all confidence in themselves, that woman who was molested as a child and lives in depression as a result, and what have you; was once that innocent child, full of life, full of hopes, strongly ambitious and expectant, hoping the future had great things in store for them? What then went wrong? Where did they lose it all? Did it happen gradually or all of a sudden? Were they destined to end that way? Do such persons still have a chance to make it right? 

Some questions begging for answers. 

The truth is that no one is destined to be a failure. Our destinies lie in our own hands. It becomes whatever we make of it. You can change from being good to bad as much as you can change from bad to good. It’s all about choice. The decisions you take growing up, to a large extent, determine your future but can still be made right only if you want. Everyone deserves a second chance.

The teenager/youth is vulnerable. They are at high risk of making destiny mistakes. They tend to go with whatever trend is available. “Oh, everyone is doing it, so why can’t I?” They engage in all unnecessary activities and forget who they are. For instance, instead of channeling her focus on having a romantic relationship with the opposite sex, a young girl should direct it into discovering her talent and working towards making it a reality. Hence, there is need to groom the teenager/youth now. They are the hope for the future.

I thought that purity, determination and self-confidence, all play parts in breeding a better youth. 

And I thought that virtue and chastity should be indoctrinated in our schools, perhaps as a subject, one of the basics in the schools’ curriculum. This platform aims to bring a reformed kind of learning to as many youths as possible. To spur them into becoming that great person in future that they have always dreamt of being. To bring back on track those young people who may have lost it and given up on themselves. It is never late until you say so. 

Here, there is no room for giving up. You push yourself up until you achieve greatness.
